To make the biggest PV module production base in Indonesia
With the acceleration of global energy transformation, new energy industry has become a strategic field that countries compete to develop. As a dynamic force in the new energy industry, LESSO is aware of the needs of overseas development and has taken a series of measures to intensify business expansion in overseas markets, working towards the direction of internationalization of market, production and supply, brand and team.
Located at Block D, Jetenglan Industrial Park, Batu Town, Demak, a picturesque international port city, which is LESSO Solar’s first overseas factory that goes into operation.
The whole base covers an area of 114,400㎡ with a planned total construction area of approximately 118,000㎡. Equipped with a whole set of automated equipment, the factory consists of production workshops, warehouses, and supporting facilities, positioning itself as one of the largest PV module factories in the world.
As of now, with a built-up area of around 52,000㎡, the base boasts two PV module production lines with a combined installed capacity of 1.2GW, leading the industry in the level of automation. The base will build another PV module production line with an installed capacity of 1.2GW for new energy materials, equipment and applications. An international PV module production center with a total installed capacity of approximately 2.4GW will thus be established, providing high-quality and reliable PV products and new energy solutions for global customers.

At the activity, Dr. Hj. Eisti'anah, S.E., Mayor of Tempe City, ZHOU Xiangwei, Vice President of LESSO New Energy Development Private Limited Company, and LUO Yibiao, General Manager of LESSO New Energy Indonesia Private Limited Company delivered speeches respectively, expressing warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the guests who visited the site and sending their best wishes for the commencement of LESSO New Energy Production Base in Indonesia. Subsequently, the relevant leaders and guests jointly pressed the official launch button of the LESSO new energy production base of Indonesia, symbolizing the success of the production ceremony of LESSO new energy production base in Indonesia!
"As the front-runner of the new industrial track of LESSO, the project will subsequently combine the resource conditions and advantages in depth to develop the whole industry chain business of photovoltaic." Mr. LUO Yibiao, General Manager of Indonesia LESSO New Energy Co. delivered a speech. He said that LESSO will continue to expand its 1.2GW PV module production line in Indonesia, featuring new energy materials, new energy equipments and new energy applications to form an internationalized PV module production center of about 2.4GW scale, boosting the agglomeration of local new energy industry and injecting new vitality into the local economic development.
Taking the commissioning as a new starting point, LESSO will actively seek cooperation with the Indonesian government, enterprises, EPC organizations and other parties to establish a stable cooperative relationship and trust, and share resources and benefits. At the same time, the Group will develop diversified cooperation modes and channels, set up overseas warehousing and logistics distribution, and provide integrated product supply services such as battery cells and semi-finished materials for new energy enterprises around the world.
The commissioning of the new energy production base in Indonesia is an important milestone in the development of LESSO, marking that LESSO has stepped up to a new level in the new energy industry. In the future, LESSO will utilize its strong manufacturing system, rich experience in production management and huge sales network around the world to provide customers with a full range of services such as products, design, construction, operation and maintenance through the integration of the whole chain industrial layout.
