Building on their respective strengths — LESSO Solar's mass production capabilities in PV modules and mature overseas distribution network, and Transcend Power's quality PV projects, energy storage product supply chain, and industrial investment resources — the two companies will establish a long-term strategic collaboration centered on an integrated model combining "PV projects, energy storage products, overseas channels, and industrial resources."

A key near-term milestone is the 40MW solar project in Kenya, which has entered an advanced stage of development. The project will adopt high-efficiency PV modules and an integrated PV-storage solution, significantly enhancing local clean energy supply and serving as a replicable model for East Africa. LESSO Solar will provide core products and technical support, further strengthening its strategic footprint in Africa. Detailed discussions were also held on project financing, construction delivery, and subsequent O&M to ensure smooth implementation.

On the energy storage front, leveraging LESSO Solar's overseas channels and the comprehensive capabilities of Chengsi in energy storage products, supply chain, and system integration, the partnership will initially target the residential storage segment in markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with commercial and industrial storage positioned as a medium-to-long-term priority.

Looking further ahead, the two sides exchanged views on longer-term industrial initiatives, including co-building production lines and equipment collaboration. As their PV-storage cooperation matures, they will explore the possibility of establishing a joint industrial platform. Following successful large-scale overseas deployments, they will also assess the feasibility of local assembly plants and localized production lines.

The strategic agreement was signed by Yuan Wenxing of LESSO Solar and Li Huajie of Transcend Power, marking an accelerated path for both companies to expand their global new energy presence.
