On July 1, 2025, LESSO Solar officially received certification from NYCE Colombia SAS for compliance with the latest Colombian Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations – RETIE 2024 (Certificate Nos. 25E5-1423-02, 03, 04). This achievement ensures that LESSO Solar’s photovoltaic products fully meet the updated national safety and technical standards.
The certification follows Resolution No. 40117 issued by Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy (MINMINAS) on April 2, 2024, which officially enacted RETIE 2024 and set July 2, 2025, as the cut-off date for all RETIE 2013-based certificates. LESSO Solar completed the entire certification process one day before the new regulation came into force, becoming one of the first Chinese solar companies to transition under RETIE 2024.

The certified portfolio includes 48 high-performance monocrystalline PV modules, ranging from 390W to 720W, designed to support residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications across Colombia. This milestone reflects LESSO Solar’s agility in regulatory adaptation and its long-standing commitment to product quality and safety.
RETIE 2024 imposes stricter safety and installation standards for electrical equipment. The new certification is valid until June 30, 2030, with regular oversight mechanisms, reinforcing LESSO Solar’s commitment to long-term product reliability and compliance.
As a strategic market in LESSO Solar’s global expansion roadmap, Colombia plays a key role in the company’s growth across Latin America. The successful RETIE 2024 certification signals LESSO Solar’s proactive, compliance-first approach in developing sustainable market solutions.
Looking ahead, LESSO Solar will continue to deliver cutting-edge technology, trusted products, and localized support tailored to Colombia’s energy goals. Together with our partners, we aim to accelerate the country's renewable transition and foster a secure, low-carbon energy future.
