LESSO Solar proudly announces the successful delivery of three residential hybrid solar energy projects across the UK, simultaneously commissioned in Pinner, Basildon, and Essex. These projects demonstrate how our hybrid solar systems can effectively reduce electricity costs while maximizing self-generated green energy for households of various scales. More importantly, they contribute to the UK’s transition towards renewable energy and a sustainable future.

In Pinner, Greater London, a household faced high electricity expenses of £800 per month, mainly due to underfloor heating and air conditioning. To address this, a 2.2kW hybrid solar system was installed, comprising four 550W P-type panels, two 5kW hybrid inverters, and three 10kWh batteries. The system intelligently charges at low night-time electricity rates from 12am to 5:30am and discharges during the day, achieving peak shaving and valley filling. This solution is expected to save the household approximately £135 per month, providing both economic relief and a greener lifestyle. By adopting solar energy, this home actively participates in reducing carbon emissions and supporting the UK’s energy transition goals.

In Basildon, a villa with high energy demands including underfloor heating, water pumps, and a swimming pool required a larger-scale solution. A 16kW system with thirty-eight 430W P-type panels, two 5kW hybrid inverters, and six 5kWh batteries was installed. By enabling self-generation and self-consumption of photovoltaic energy, the villa significantly reduces electricity bills while ensuring a stable and efficient power supply for all household loads. This project not only brings economic benefits to the homeowner but also demonstrates the potential of residential solar solutions to support national renewable energy adoption and reduce dependence on traditional power grids.

In Essex, another household was paying £200–£250 per month for electricity. A 7.7kW hybrid system featuring fourteen 550W P-type panels, two 5kW hybrid inverters, and six 5kWh batteries was deployed. During the day, the system generates and stores solar energy, which is then discharged at night to supply household loads. By maximizing self-consumption of green energy, the system effectively reduces electricity bills and enhances energy independence. Projects like this contribute to the broader vision of the UK’s sustainable energy development by promoting clean, decentralized energy generation at the residential level.
These three UK projects highlight the versatility and effectiveness of LESSO Solar’s residential hybrid solutions, from small urban homes to large villas. By integrating photovoltaic panels, hybrid inverters, and battery storage, our systems provide practical, cost-efficient, and environmentally friendly energy solutions. Beyond immediate economic benefits, they support the UK in achieving its renewable energy targets, fostering a greener future, and empowering homeowners to take an active role in the country’s energy transformation.
