On September 26th, LESSO Solar celebrated a major achievement at its New Energy Industrial Base in Foshan, Shunde, Guangdong Province, where the company's research team unveiled the first independently developed N-type 720W high-efficiency solar module. This milestone marks a significant breakthrough in photovoltaic (PV) technology innovation, set to power the green energy transition and lead the industry towards sustainable, high-quality development.
During the launch ceremony at the Shunde base, the debut of the N-type TOPCon 720W ultra-high-power module showcased LESSO Solar’s strong research and development capabilities, as well as its top-tier production efficiency. This achievement breaks through the dual barriers of power and cost, propelling the company into the new era of large-format, ultra-high-power modules.
Not only does this innovation represent a leap forward in PV technology, but it also signals a new chapter for the solar energy industry, with boundless potential ahead.
In response to the industry's push towards higher efficiency and carbon reduction, large-format and high-power modules have become the trend. With an average production power of 700W and peak power of 720W, this new module stands out for its efficiency. The enhanced power output helps lower the cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh), making it the preferred solution for PV power stations aiming for cost-effective performance.
A notable feature of the 720W module is its 2384mm x 1303mm large-size design, which optimizes its physical structure and dramatically improves packing efficiency. This reduces logistics and installation costs, enhancing its market competitiveness and providing a more economical solution for large-scale solar projects.
Building on its expertise in N-type TOPCon technology, the 720W module further amplifies the advantages of the N-type series: high efficiency, high power, high reliability, greater energy output, and low cost per kWh. This innovation is a key player in the next-generation high-efficiency cell technology, combining with 210 large-size cell technology to achieve a synergistic effect that breathes new life into the global solar market.
At its Shunde base, LESSO Solar now operates eight intelligent production lines, ensuring a stable supply of products. These lines, which are fully automated and digitally controlled, efficiently manage the entire production process from raw materials to finished products, guaranteeing industry-leading standards.
As production capacity continues to expand, LESSO Solar will be well-positioned to meet the growing demand for high-quality, high-performance N-type solar modules both domestically and internationally.
Amid the global carbon-neutrality movement, the solar industry is experiencing unprecedented opportunities. With the launch of groundbreaking products like the "N-type 720W Ultra-High-Power Module" and the "210R Rectangular Cell Module," LESSO Solar's technological leadership and stable supply capabilities are becoming more apparent. The company is poised not only to solidify its presence in the domestic market but also to shine on the international stage, contributing to China's photovoltaic industry’s success abroad and driving the global transition to a cleaner, low-carbon energy future.
